Who we are

Atlas Robots was founded in 2015 by Antonio Blanco, Director of Engineering, and Gonzalo García Santacruz, Sales Director. We had both spent years managing engineering projects for large multinational companies, where robotics was only accessible to those who could afford it.

We launched Atlas Robots with a specific goal in mind: to enable industrial SMEs to automate their end-of-line processes as well. That’s why we designed cells standard —not custom projects— with a price known in advance, a fixed timeline, and a defined scope. That’s why a palletizer from Atlas Robots starts at €50,000 and can be up and running in three months.

Behind that decision lies a conviction: a factory's strength does not lie in brute force. A worker who stops carrying sacks is not surplus to requirements; he does what a machine cannot do.

The Call from the Feed Mill

One phone call from those early years really stands out. We had installed one of our first robots at a small animal feed factory, and a few weeks later, the phone rang: it was the owner. In this line of work, when a client calls, you fear the worst: a last-minute change, a breakdown, or an impossible rush.

That wasn't it. He was calling to say thank you—to say that everything was going perfectly and that it had changed the day-to-day operations at his factory.

When they hung up, one of them started to cry. We're still working hard to get that call.
