Industrial Glass Handling Robot

Precision and Total Flexibility for Large-Format Glass

Technical Specifications: A robotic system specialized in the precise handling of large-format glass and panes, capable of handling panels up to 5×2 meters in size and weighing up to 350 kg. The manipulator offers full range of motion (tilt and rotation), allowing for complex maneuvers in mid-air. A secure and gentle grip is guaranteed by technical suction cups, an integrated level compensation system, and vacuum switch control, ensuring a mark-free grip without surface stress even on specially treated glass.

Improve glass transport with our state-of-the-art handling robot. Its adjustable vacuum clamp safely captures and delivers glass of any size. It automatically transports glass panes to a squared-off dock, ensuring accurate and stable handling.
Discover how it works of the glass handling robot
1

The glass sheets enter the cell via a conveyor. Once inside, the robot captures the product using a specially designed gripper with a suction cup system.

2

The robot ascends with the board and rotates on its axis to move it to the drop-off point.

3

The robot stands in front of the drop position and descends with the board to release it into place.

Explore the Robustness of Our Grips

The glass clamp uses vacuum suction cups and level compensators for precise clamping. It captures the sheets, delivers them to the conveyor and performs a 90° turn for placement. The design ensures gentle and efficient handling of the glass.

Total Control and Remote Support at your Fingertips

Manage your system intuitively with our HMI display, which allows you to monitor alarms and statistics instantly. Thanks to advanced connectivity and remote diagnostics with integrated camera, you can solve problems quickly and minimize downtime.

Technology that optimizes every operation

Mobilizes the pallets automatically

Atlas Robots' autonomous guided vehicle (AMR) enables driverless transport of pallets along a predefined route. Using the integrated software, we plan the route, and the system itself communicates with the other robots to ensure maximum pickup and delivery throughput for the pallets.
