A Atlas Robots bag palletizer will cost between €50,000 and €100,000 on a turnkey basis in 2026, depending on the production rate and the degree of automation. The floor-fed version costs 50,000 € and palletizes 360 bags per hour; the automatic version, about 63,000 € and 600 bags per hour; the high-speed version, about 100,000 € and 1,000 bags per hour. A dual palletizer, with two robots for two lines, costs about €100,000.
Prices include the arm, the gripper, the fencing, installation, commissioning, training, and CE marking. This page lists all the figures so you can make an initial estimate.

Price of a bag palletizer by model
| Version | Turnkey price | Cadence | Pallet Management |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ground-level power supply | Starting at €50,000 | 360 bags/hour | The pallet is placed and removed at a ground-level loading dock |
| Automatic | About 63,000 € | 600 bags/hour | Floor Conveyor Belts and Empty Pallet Storage |
| High speed | About 100,000 € | 1,000 bags per hour | High-speed robot, output conveyor, and pallet dispenser |
| Dual Palletizer (2 robots, 2 lines) | About 100,000 € | One robot for each production line | Depending on the configuration |
All three versions use the same universal mechanical gripper and the same 3 × 3-meter cell. What differs is the robot's speed and the extent to which pallet handling is automated.
How much does it cost to palletize multiple lines?
A single robot from Atlas Robots can pick up bags from up to five input lines. In that case, it distributes its throughput among them: 360 bags per hour in total for the standard version. When each line requires its own throughput, the solution is a dual palletizer—with two robots for two lines—which costs about 100,000 €.
What's Included in the Price
- Refurbished industrial robotic arm from a leading brand, with a 3,100 mm reach and a 240 kg payload
- Universal mechanical clamp for bags weighing 1 to 120 kg
- Infeed conveyor (pick-up conveyor) and, at high speed, outfeed conveyor
- Control kiosk with HMI screen and 1,000 palletizing tiles as standard
- Base, perimeter fencing, and safety measures
- Transportation, on-site assembly, commissioning, and operator training
- Manuals, electrical schematics, declaration of conformity, and CE marking for the complete cell
- 1-year warranty on the entire cell
What Is Not Included in the Price
The customer is only responsible for providing the electrical and compressed air connections to the unit. The electrical connection is rated for a peak load of 13 kVA. The installation does not require any civil engineering work or site preparation.
Why does it cost half as much as a new arm?
The industrial arm is the most expensive component of a palletizer. The same cell with a new, top-brand boom would cost about €100,000; with a reconditioned boom, Atlas Robots offers it starting at €50,000.
The arms come from automotive plants and are inspected at the workshop at Atlas Robots using the process REFIT. The claw, the fencing, the safety features, and the CE marking are all new, and they are manufactured by Atlas Robots. Replacement parts are delivered within 24 to 48 hours, and there are arms manufactured in 1995 that are still being produced at the plant.
How much does it cost to maintain it?
| Concept | Annual cost |
|---|---|
| Maintenance Contract (Preventive Maintenance) | 1.500 € |
| Replacement Parts and Supplies | About 300 € |
| Electricity (4 kW on average at 0.15 €/kWh) | Just over 1,000 € per shift |
How long does it take to pay off?
A bag palletizer pays for itself by allowing the company to add shifts without hiring additional staff. Doubling production manually would require two more workers, at a cost of about €60,000 per year; with the palletizing cell, this can be achieved with the current workforce.
| Version | Investment | Double production | Triple production |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ground-level power supply | 50.000 € | 11 months | 7 months |
| Automatic | 63.000 € | 14 months | 9 months |
| High speed | 100.000 € | 22 months | 15 months |
The complete calculations and their assumptions are available at How to Calculate the ROI of a Palletizing Robot.
Delivery and Installation Timeframe
The delivery time is 3 months from the date the order is confirmed. On-site installation takes one week, with two technicians, and includes commissioning and approximately 4 hours of operator training.
What information do we need to finalize your price?
- Bag Weight and Material
- Number of bags per hour that you need to palletize
- Number of input lines
- Pallet format (European, American, British, box pallet, or half pallet) and height of the finished pallet, up to 2,700 mm
- Space available at the end of the line
Based on those five pieces of information, we'll send you a final quote. Request a quote or check out the Technical Specifications for the Bag Palletizer.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Price of a Bag Palletizer
How much does a bag palletizing robot cost?
A bag palletizer from Atlas Robots costs starting at €50,000 for the floor-fed version (360 bags/hour), about €63,000 for the automatic version (600 bags/hour), and about €100,000 for the high-speed version (1,000 bags/hour), turnkey.
How much does it cost to palletize two lines of bags?
A single robot from Atlas Robots can handle up to 5 input lines, distributing its cycle time among them. If each line requires its own cycle time, a dual palletizer—with two robots for two lines—costs about 100,000 €.
What is included in the price of a bag palletizer?
The price is turnkey: it includes the robotic arm, the gripper, the infeed conveyor, the control console, the base, the fencing and safety features, transportation, on-site installation, commissioning, operator training, manuals, and CE marking.
What is not included in the price?
Only electrical and compressed air connections to the cell. The installation does not require any civil engineering work.
Why does a refurbished robotic palletizer cost half as much?
Because the industrial arm is the most expensive component of the cell. The same cell with a new, top-brand arm would cost about €100,000; with a reconditioned arm, it starts at €50,000. The gripper, the guardrail, the safety features, and the CE marking are all new and are manufactured by Atlas Robots.
How much does it cost to maintain a bag palletizer each year?
The maintenance contract costs €1,500 per year, plus about €300 for replacement parts and supplies. Electricity costs just over €1,000 per year for each work shift.
How long does it take to recoup the cost of a bag palletizer?
A €50,000 cell pays for itself in 11 months if it allows production to double without hiring additional staff, and in 7 months if it allows production to triple by hiring just one person instead of four.
How long does it take to receive and install a bag palletizer?
The delivery time is 3 months from the date the order is confirmed. Installation at the customer's facility takes one week, with two technicians, and includes commissioning and approximately 4 hours of training.
Can I rent or lease a palletizer from Atlas Robots?
No. Atlas Robots sells its cells outright; it does not offer its own rental, rental-purchase, or leasing options.
