Today we are going to tell you the exciting story of the industrial robot.

This is the kind of story that excites. It is the story that made it possible to free workers from hard manual labor thanks to the industrial robot and Atlas.

The beginning of the industrial robot

In 1950 a man named George Devol created the first company dedicated to the world of industrial robotics.

It was not until the 1960s that the concept of the industrial robot as we know it today was developed. They were beginning to be used in the automotive industry.

An unprecedented development

By the 1970s, industrial robotics had advanced considerably. However, the robots were large and expensive.

In these same years, robotic companies such as KUKA, with which Atlas will work in the future, are emerging.

During the years to come, sensors, interfaces... that made it easier to manipulate the robot would be developed.

Already robots were beginning to occupy more and more industries.

Atlas

In the 2000s, industrial technology became cheaper, but far from those SMEs that dreamed of a robot.

In the 2010s, two enthusiasts emerged whose dream was to free people from heavy physical burdens.

His dream is to automate all SMEs in this country. That they can buy a robot at an affordable price.

That's us, Atlas Robots, fighting the battle against inhumane jobs through industrial robotics.

Gonzalo and Antonio achieved what they set out to do. But I can't tell you the ending because that one is yet to be written...
