The project
FERBALCA palletizes cement bags of different weights. To facilitate and speed up production, a bag palletizing cell has been designed with a specific gripper capable of making high pallet mosaics and adapting to the variety of bags supplied.
Once we met at our client's facilities we detected a need for automation. We needed a robotic system capable of stacking bags of cement and with programmable stacking height in the most efficient way.
The design phase
A palletizing robot was designed with a special gripper for paper sacks, with perimeter fencing and a system for the placement and removal of the pallet by the operator. It is one of the most functional designs of Atlas Robots.
Manufacture and installation at the end customer
The delivery time to the customer for a bag palletizing robot is usually 90 days. If the solution is very standard, like this one, we can reduce the delivery time.
