Javier Abajo, Financial Director and Fran Méndes, Quality Director, both from Licores y Derivados, give us their testimony of what their company's experience has been in automating processes in their production line. The companies, which started as a small family business until it becomes a company capable of exporting a wide variety of products internationally.

Production has increased 20-fold since the beginning. Currently they have a much wider range of products where they have been adding new flavors, new mixtures from fruit liqueurs, different types of liquors, creams made with a milk base, in white bed as could be the vodka with gin.

We are told that robotization has clearly helped to make the job easier. Abefore it was all manualeven the bottles were put in by hand and also formed the pallets of boxes by hand.

By introducing the atlas Robot solutions, they have not reduced personnel, but increased them, as other production lines have increased.

They recognize that they were very mechanical, heavy and repetitive functionsand now they can be assigned to much more productive tasks, letting the robot work automatically.
